In the preview window all i get is pink! I get audio, no video. I checked the file out of premiere using media player and its fine. Somtimes, this has only happened today, when i capture i get a pink screen in the preview window. I check the file in media player and its all there. It was working fine for a while, today, in the preveiw window, then all the sudden went pink. Ive restarted a million times. Whatsup witht his? |

Heres a new piece to the puzzle. I exported the project as avi and opened it in a new project, so all i had was the one avi track and one audio track. I could play back fine. Then when i imported a wav file and placed it on the timeline it went pink.... |

Weird... sorry I don't have a solution.. Interestingly, I've used a YUV precompressor when capturing video before and for some reason my video clips end up as nothing but solid green if I tried exporting it with an Indeo compressor. Last time I used my capture card, however, I didn't experience this problem.Isaiah |

the actual video is not messed up, just when in premiere... Dangit! I was hoping to edit this whole thing tonight. |

Well, I've got the DVRaptor, not the DV200, but other than that the same setup. I've seen this before, and it was one of the following that caused it:1: I had the RCA video cable from the camera running into the wrong jack on the card (the DV Raptor has an input and an output-passthrough, I believe). 2: I didn't have the firewire cable hooked up properly, or didn't have the camera in "VTR" mode, or something else that caused the DV Raptor Premiere module not to load. ------------------ TL daa Productions Nobody lives forever, so you might as well go out with a good caffeine buzz... I had similar problems. For me it was an overlay issue. You should be able to test overlay somewhere on your system. Premiere is very picky about its overlay. Try playing with your color depth, refresh rate, and screen resoultion. For my system, I was lucky enough to get 1290x960@32bit@72 refresh. You could also try the DV-RAPTOR forum at canopus's web site http://www.canopuscorp.com/bforum/bforum.mv. There are many posts about overlay that you may find helpful, even if you dont have a raptor. Hope this helps... ------------------ "Being out there on the bleeding edge sure is an adventure in the unpredictable and bizzare"..... EdgeMan |

I have the same problem. I get a pink screen in my source window and sometimes I get a flickering target window. I never had it happen on my P2 system. Now I put it on my K7 700 system and I've been dickering with it every night to get it right. Do you have to load your presets everytime you start or restart a project? This is a new problem for me.james ------------------ How much Keefe is in this film...Miles O'Keefe
