Topic: a homemade starship troopers movie....

a while back (like 5 months ago) i came across a website dedicated to a low-budget starship troopers movie, made by some kids, who couldnt have been older than maybe 15 at the time. the fx were amazing...im trying to find this site, or the guys who made it...anyone have any clues?------------------

No but please post it if you find it. Thinking about it, I think (Going with the whole pseudo newsreel way they filmed segments) it would be a not too bad way to continue the movie kinda like star wars fan films. |

yeah...the fx were incredible...tons of blue screening...it was shot against a desert-like landscape...there were two troopers (kids) in full movie costume, with apparently two very realistic looking guns...i think they actually were the props used in the actual movie...not sure though. the muzzle-flares were incredibly rotoscoped...easily the most realistic ive seen...and they were actually firing on a few CGI bugs they composited in! it was amazing...by now they were supposed to have finished it i guess...but i cant remember the damn webpage for the life of me! argh!!!------------------

Now ya got my interest all peaked. I actually REALLY liked starship troopers. Lemme know if you find the site, I might just go lookin myself in a bit. aufweidersehen. |
