Hi I osted a while back about getting into my first film festival, and thankyou.... you were all very supportive.

Well I ended up winning a film festival for Australias biggest radio station ( Tripple M ) Anyway I won a $6000 comp with a DC30+
AfterEffects,Premiere the works. This was my 5 film and I'm only 17.

I can only say anyone can make film with little or no experience and there's nothing like the joy of your hardwork being recognised occasionally.

CONGRATULATIONS BIRD!!!! You see, you CAN do good things with little money - only to be rewarded with good things if and when you get lucky to win. But then if your work was good enough then luck was only a little part of the equation. Glad to hear you won. Now with all the new goodies to work with you can go on to bigger and better things. Again, congratulations. Everyone - take note. If you don't enter you can't win. Everyone who has something to offer should always try to "give it a shot", because you never know. Good for you!!! Resounding applause.

Good job!

Take a moment to celebrate, a well deserved break, then plunge back into your next project. Use the momentum, the equipment, and the recognition from this to push forward. Remember, nothing comes automatically - you'll have to work as hard or harder to complete your next project. Stay in the ring and keep on swinging.

You may be able to use your success to add legitimacy to your work - it may open some doors or at least get people to take you seriously, so long as you are humble about it and don't come off like a braggart.

We're proud of you! Keep us updated on the next effort, and letus know what your questions and concerns are.

I don't listen to MMM or the commercial stations, only WILD, so I missed out on it. Do you plan to make it available as an MPG or QT movie on the web?

Hey Bird Productions: Congrats, can we have a link to as site where we can see your video? It's an awfully big prize, I'd like to see the video that won it. If you have to put it up on the Net yourself, I'm sure someone here could help you out with some space. Again, nice job.
