I know there are a few germans here, so maybe you guys can help.
What kind of music do you typically listen to. Like names of the bands. A unique german band, because I am sure that you guys listen to a lot of the stuff we do, but somthing writen in german...
Danke!

Just dont let yourself see what the lyrics are, those are some bloody sick people! bloody bloody sick! I took german and translated the lyrics and read others translations(much better grammar), and since then I cant listen to the music, cuz know what theyre saying, and its. augh!

The beatles used to bum around in germany, played a lot of their songs there, in german originally. I actually have a record with she loves you in german

sie leibt dich, ja ja ja, hahah, right...
see ya.

I´m not german but I would also like to recommend Rammstein. You can listen to "Du Hast" on the "Matrix" soundtrack.

speaking of German beatles songs,
there's a guy in germany who sings beatles songs in german and films himself on super8, he's (propably) completely insane, but very funny. his name is klaus Beyer. He works as a candlemaker during the day. He's a friend of Jorg Buttgereit. (->nekromantik etc)

and yes, kraftwerk! (they have a new CD single..."expo2000")

Kraftwerk is the greatest german band ever(and greatest techno band, too).

My favorite album is Man-Machine (with THE MODEL!) and Radioactivity comes in close second.

Also try some kraut rock bands like Kan or Faust.

KMFDM is always good. Try the Run Lola Run sound track, some times it is under Lola Rennt. and here is a link to a really good band Glenn does a lot of stuff in German give 'em a try http://www.se.mediaone.net/~cardio/Bleedingice.html
