How would I go about making a man in the walls kinda like the one guy in the frightners and how he kinda flew around in the walls ? |

i assume that you mean like the shot where the mirror bulges and deforms like its one of those little pin box things, right?well, it's possible to do it a few different ways, you may be able to make a frame then put saran wrap in it, paint it with something that wont crack off or eat the plastic, then just have your actor push through...it may work or, do it the way i think they did it, cgi...if you have bryce 3D or higher, you may be able to make a terrain, apply a height map in the terrain editor, then animate that so it looks like the "guy"(height map) is moving there are other ways i'm sure, like a mesh deform in 3dsm, but they get more technical later Tom

Spandex. Lot's of spandex.Really. Stretch it over a wooden or metal frame, and have the actor rub against it and move around. This effect is used in haunted houses all the time. |

ugh, spandex, i get chills just thinkin about it. hey, im scripraven's partner in NOViCE Pictures. im the one with all the computer effects and editing stuff for now. as of now, i dont have/have access to bryce, but im getting 3d studio max 3 soon. any help with that program would be greatly appreciated. ------------------ I was normal once..... SPANDEX FRIGHTENS YOU?!!!IT TERRIFIES ME!! In my stage crafting class we had to run a show with a bunch of old people in it! THEY WERE WEARING SPANDEX!! I left with a 50 dollar check so I was happy... | |
