Topic: Pink Screen Problem, and DirectX6 installation

Ok i can edit fine as long as i dont add a .wav file. This really sucks guys! this problem statted wednesday, just out of the blue, and has not stopped! Editing is REALLY hard! I read on the adobe board that directx7 might do this. I have DirectX6 on CD, i tried installing it, but it keepps the newer version, how do install 6? |

Perhaps uninstall Directx7 first. I donīt know how to do that but i wouls search for Directx and delete that files |

DON'T do that. You'll screw up your registry. I recomend finding someone who's wiz at computers to uninstall it, manually. You'll have to get rid of all the registry and system.ini and other config files... I'm guessing, at least. I have no idea how you do it, but my friend uninstalls things like that for me all the time. Somehow he managed to get rid of Active desktop and all those other crappy, hard-drive eating apps without screwing up winblows  |
