Any ideas on how to make a person translucent, but with say a whiteish haze? I.e. for a ghost? I'm sure there are programs out there, but which ones do any of you know of? Also, does anyone know a neat, but cheap & simple, method of "phasing" through walls?

sorry, i lifted that from an earlier post. if that's not to your approval, just search the board for "ghost", "spirit", or "phantom" i think those will get you some other info. that you may find useful.

there are cheap and easy ways of doing this without resorting to the electronics... the easiest is pepper's ghost... essentially a reflection in a piece of glass placed between the actors and the camera.... it takes a little bit of work on lighting and angles but it can be very effective....
