We all know by now how to successfully light a bluescreen. What about when you have a bluescreen that curls under the actors as a floor.

What are the difficulities in elimating shadows on the floor?

I'd suggest using a few reflected lights. Here's what we do at school on our chroma set. We have six lights with white lightboxes set evenly around the set at about eyelevel. These provide a good soft primary light. Then have two spotlights reflected off umbrellas near the ceiling about ten feet up. This helps to evenly light the floor. Of course, this isn't exactly the best set up if your trying to key to a scene that is set outdoors, but it will work for a virtual set.
