I am looking for help on developing a plot for a new movie. It would have a $200 budget and the running time would be somewhere around the 40 minute mark. The movie revolves around the lives of four major characters... whole thing is a bit light in mood but still maintaining a bit of a dark comedy feel. As for a plot I don't really have any ideas yet, so I was hoping you could give me some solid ones to build it around. It will be portraying the lives and distinct personalities of all four charactors through out the movie. I'm open to any suggestions, so fire away.

Try this... Grab some paper and a pen. Write down the names of your main characters one per page. Then fill out everything about that person. Height weight, hair/eye color, interests, personality traits, maybe a short history, quircks, likes dislikes, what their goal in life is... anything you can think about this character... One this helps you have a more rounded believable character, and two often you can find ideas for plots in there as you're doing it. Hope that helps
