OKay I'm currently about to do my last year at school and after that I would like to go to film school. Now I was just wondering and keep in mind I live in Australia so I dont know if it's the same everywhere but I really want to enter my films into a film festival to get attention (dont we all?) anyways I was wondering to do that do I need to copyright my script and register it and all that or will festivals accept any old film as long as it's good? I don't know if I'm making sense but if I have to copyright everything how do I go about it? Anyhelp would be great thanx.

there are lots of folks from Australia here aren't there? intersteing

anyway, try finding government website, here in the states it'd be the library of congress, which deals with that kind of thing. if you can't look for the equivilant of the writers guild of america. also just try emailing some of the folks in australia for info if you dont get any here
