Many thanks Oh, exhaulted one.

I've been looking for this kinda stuff ever since I started reading George R. R. Martin.
(If you like medieval fantasy, but gritty dark and full of the politics and intrigue you never get in the disney version, pick up "A Game of Thrones", it's a definate winner.)
And that coming from somebody who normally shies away from fantasy.
