Hey Hey, i'm looking for either an editor or a script formatter (is that even a phrase!?). Basically i have a 42 page entertaining script that needs to be Edited to make it sound better eg: dialogue , location description etc.....or a script formatter to make it look like a script.
Thanx to all that Reply!

Peace Out

Send it to me and I can fix the dialogue, and probably some of the loaction descriptions for you.

HBK,

I use a script-editor that I find quite nice. it's called 'sophocles' (http://www.sophocles.com). Compared to Hollywood Screenplay (not bad either), it comes with some more features that are pretty cool: it makes out statistics allowing you to check out if your dialogues are well-balanced (ie. not too long, not too short) compared to the whole script.

You can download a trial version of that program at the aforementioned URL.

I find the program quite nice.

Have a good one!

hmm, for anyone who wanted to try Sophocles, it's at http://www.sophocles.net (not .com, that page is very different...) or the direct link to the trial version page is http://www.sophocles.net/download.htm

So far, HBK, I've redone about six pages and I've done some formatting too, the way I format, it's pretty much the right way give or take a few aspects.

Most of the dialogue is okay, I can see what you want to say, so I've changed some parts pretty significantly (the 'Are we there yet?' scene was straight from the Simpsons, so it's been slightly altered) and added some stuff (a short argument between Fonz and Berrat on the rivalrys between Disney and Warner Brothers), but so far I think it's going okay. Once I'm done (about a week and a half maybe?) I'll send it to you and we'll see what you think and then we'll work from there.

K?
