I was planning to buy a capture card but I'm not sure how much and what type of memory I would need for about 1 hour of vhs-c video with a studio dc10?------------------ Don't dream it,be it! Tim Curry, Rocky Horror Picture Show |

I'd say 15 GB would be sufficiant. You can get one for $100.------------------ "I'm Scared Sarge" "We're All Scared Son" Visit No Budget Films at: http://no_budget_films.tripod.com |

He's obviously talking about hard drive space because he says "One hour of VHS-c video" I dont know any RAM that stores "one hour" of anything.Since he's shooting on VHS-C, he doesn't need to capture at the highest settings, because his input isn't the quality of the highest settings. ------------------ "I'm Scared Sarge" "We're All Scared Son" Visit No Budget Films at: http://no_budget_films.tripod.com |
