I was wondering, can you do slow motion with adobe premiere? If so, how? Thanks.------------------ FilmWEAPON http://focusproductions.cjb.net |

Just place your clips on the timeline and under the heading "clips" , open the speed option. A little box will open asking a percentage , there you will enter a percentage less than 100% to slow it down. |

After you slow down the clip, you also have to deinterlace the clip or when the video is exported to your camera or TV it is extremely jerky. Right click on the clip, goto Video, Field Options and choose always deinterlace. www.jabinya.com [This message has been edited by jabinya (edited 11-29-2000).] |

Also think about what percentage You use, values like 50%, 25%, this makes it less jerky since it's easier for Premiere to render (no need to "create" in-between frames for "odd" slow-motion speeds). My tests shows a very noticable improvement when using "even" percentage values (at least to me )./Rico

Fredrik is right. If you divide the speed into equally divided fractions the results are much better.------------------ www.jabinya.com |
