I'm getting the DC-10, but first, I want to make sure I have a free PCI slot. So where is that located, and how do I make sure I have a free one on my PC? Thanks.------------------ FilmWEAPON http://focusproductions.cjb.net |

crack open your puter, and spill its guts so you can see the mother board. there should be a series of whitish slots about 10 cm's long, give or take. |

ISA slots are long and black.. AGP slots are kinda short and brown , a little off center kinda in the case ,and their is only one of them ..PCI slots are short and white... if your computer is less then 5 years old you should have one or two , but they may be used up..if your computer is less than 3 years old you should have open pci slots depending on if you have installed any other cards in your computer.. whats the name brand and model # of your computer? - eddie - www.dvforums.com |

Hmm...you may need a newer computer. I have a 266 with 96 megs of ram and have no problems. But my machine is at the bottom of what you would want to do video editing/capturing. I'd hold off on trying to capture video if i were you. You may be dissapointed.Later, Gr|fter |
