First of all, how exactly do you do it? And second of all, even if it's messing up on your computer, like scratching and not playing smooth, will it still be good in the VCR? Thanx.------------------ FilmWEAPON http://focusproductions.cjb.net |

Buy a capture card like Studio DC10+, compress the video file using the cards codec MJPG (I think), choose the desired resolution, and export! If the video jumps and it is because you have a slow computer, then it will be fine on your VHS copy. However, if it is the source video which has the problem, then it won't be smooth on the video tape. |

or if u use a 1394 fire wire card then its sinch. You just need a prog like media studio pro 6 which is able to output and import dv footage at 720x480 then just click on where it says print to video. Or if u dont have the money for msp get ulead video studio 4 and just use it to print it back to video. |

You can get video cards with video out. Then you just run an rca cable from your comp to the vcr. If the computer is playing the video choppy, then it will record choppy because the vcr is recording what it sees.Reboot your comp and try to play it again. If you system is low on resources, it will be choppy at times. Later, Gr|fter |
