How can i do my own southpark movie??
What programs do they use to make it??

you could probbly do it easily enough with flash.

or, get some construction paper-cut outs and do a stop motion animation!

Strange as it sounds, they use top of the line 3D software from Alias, which costs thousands of dollars.
Flash is a good idea. After Effects looks like a good choice, too.
I once made one with LightWave but it's not easy to work with for that kind of animation.

i wanted to do this also, but how exactly? i mean i don't want to do it with construction paper and stop motion.

youd have to build the characters several times, on each angle. the shapes wouldnt be hard to do in flash...just to animate everything together...that's a lot of layers and keyframes.

i have seen very good flash animation done though. it is do-able if you have the time to do it.

animating the mouths might take a bit of time, but it would be a nice touch. blinking too lol.

once you build the characters from front sides and back, start experimenting.

ERIKM do you have a lot of expireance with lightwave? i just got it and as yet don't know much about it or animation for that matter and am doing some in an upcoming sci/fi film i'm getting ready to start shooting if feburary and would like some advice as this is not my post if you would care to talk to me about it please e-mail me at harryjlb@aol.com thanks.

With flash!? but that takes a lot of time

hmmmm. i guess you should go for moho or sumthin similar. itīs a proggie to do 2d-animated work. you can built your character, they have bones etc, and animate them. just like any 3d-proggie. only in 2d

Its interesting how they do South Park. They have a different mouth for each syllable and when they make an episode, they just put them all together.
