Will Ulead Media Studio Pro work with After Effects? What about that new ALAMDV?

ya it will work if you compress the files at 640x480 with media studio because i think after affects only lets u import files at that size or smaller. But dont hold me to that since i dont have affter effects! but if u have msp then u dont even need after effects because msp has a rotoscoping type of prog and a cg one. but thats only on the full msp version.

Basically ALL programs work with each other. After FX, only 640/480 ? No way. it can work up to film res.
you can always import and export your work as standard avi´s. but when transferring a lot, you should sore the files UNCOMPRESSED. so you wont loose quality in every step. (the quality loss in video is cumulative)

I know that Premiere doesn't suppor avi files encoded in a DV format. I'm almost sure that AfterEffects doesn't support either.
However there is a workaround if you use a *special* DV encoder.

I think that all the rest of the codec work with AE.

All times are ET (US)
