Topic: How to reduce hum

Well, I just downloaded the cool sound software Goldwave, and I was wondering....how do you reduce that annoying background hum? Is it my audio wire, is there something I can do? Please help me! Thanks for any help!------------------

First get an external mike, never use the one that comes with your camera because its not gonna be that good and plus since it is in/on the camera its generally going to pick up the noise of the motors of the camera |

We've already gotten an external mike. It's wireless Audio Technica and it's always been excellent quality...maybe it's the wire or something?------------------
