hey guys, just curious. i've seen a few trailers flying around here that have the "silent film look," with all the dust and vertical lines and stuff like that...how do you do that!?------------------ there are 3 different types of people in this world: those who can count, and those who can't. |

Plug-ins. There are some for Premiere and After Effects. The Premeire one is called "Film FX". The AE one is called "Cinelook". Both very expensive Or, you could film on super 8 and drag it on he ground The plug ins would look better though.------------------ "I'm Scared Sarge" "We're All Scared Son" Visit No Budget Films at: http://no_budget_films.tripod.com |

There is a Quicktime plugin with Premiere that includes an old film filter. It came with my version 5.1. It might not be as good as the expensive commercial alternatives, and it's VERY SLOW and kinda buggy IMHO, but hey, it's free. | |
