I've had some trouble getting my computer up to a video editing capacity. I'm planning on buying Premier, but I can't find i good video card. The one I just bought was an All in wonder 128. But I accidentaly bought an AGP card instead of PCI. And the dude from ebay won't take it back.

Can anyone reccomend a good card?

DC10+.
Do a search for why to buy it.

if you want a DVcard try Pyro or maybe StudioDV.

Directors cut has worked very well for me so far, very good quality input and out put. You can order it here, http://www.powerr.com

Well right now i have a ATI All-in-wonder 16mb pci....i think its perfect....it can handle all types of cams...and whats wrong if its AGP....I mean i got a PCI ..and a AGP card.......so whats wrong with AGP did you want to get like a high powered Game Graphic card...like voodoo?

Hmm, if you're looking for an all-in-one sort of thing, go with the Marvel Matrox G200 TV. That thing kicks! Same compression as the DC10+ (MJPEG), it's a video card as well, has a tv tuner so you can watch tv on the computer, and it has an external box so you dont have to dig around behind the computer. Goes for about $250. IF not that, then the DC10+ will be good. Are you sure your MiniDV doesn't have digital outputs? It should be like "1394" or "Firewire" or if sony "ilink" I've never heard of a mini dv cam without digital outputs.

I would assume so too, but my JVC GR-DVF10U only has composite and S-video

All times are ET (US)
