BUNKY, REPORTING FROM STUDY HALLI have a super8 camera with a 37mm (I think) lens. I need an anamorphic lens with at least 2:1. |

Why "at least 2:1"? That would give you an aspect ration of 2.66:1 which is really wiiiide. The aspect ratio in theatres is 2.35:1 for which you need a 1.75:1 anamorphic lens. |

Then where can I get one that's 1.75:1? |

Is anamorphic feasible for super 8? I've never seen that before and I'm kind of curious. |

It's feasible all right. Super8sound in Burbank rents (and maybe sells) an anamorphic lens that attaches to a Beaulieu. Oliver Stone used it for portions of Natural Born Killers.Go to the link http://lavender..../anamorphic.html in my previous post. [This message has been edited by Actor (edited 12-13-2000).] |
