been a long while since ive posted here but im almost always here, anyways im filming a movie and the ending requires someone getting hit by a car, but not the front just the side of the car and have the body fly sideways out of frame. im thinking of having the car drive very very slowly and have the actor mimic being hit then speeding up the footage, opinions anyone? |

Check out "Back To the Future 1" when marty gets hit by the car. IT's almost exactly what I think you're talking about.------------------ Check out my sample music site *updated 12.22.00 |

If he's getting hit by the side fender you can always shoot from the other side. The right sound effect and a convincing actor can make this look good in two dimensions. An after shot of a bloody dented fender wouldn't hurt either. Maybe a busted headlight.ADOM |

staart with the actor sprawled over the hood, have him stand up and the car speed backwards in reverse, then play it in reverse in post. |
