Hi guys!
Can anyone pleaase tell me what in cm or pixels or inches, the height and width of a blanck VHS tape.
I really want to make a cover on the computer, but it has to be the exact size.

Thanks!!

That depends on the resolution you want to create it at. I'd suggest at least 300dpi (dots per inch). So, a VHS cassette jacket is about 7.5 inches long and 4 inches wide.

Do some simple math:
7.5 inches x 300dpi = 2250 pixels wide
4 inches x 300 dpi = 1200 pixels high.

Have fun!

Hey jeerome, I've been trying to do the same thing for a while. I made a template on my computer, I could send you if you'd like. I find it very helpful. Have you found any paper to use to print them on. The best kind I've found is plain old photo paper, but it's very expensive. I found a company that makes a program to make covers and paper to print them on, but that paper is even more expensive. Good luck!!

Thanks Suspiria but unfortunatly I don't have any of the programs to use the template.

If you could JasonSly please send the template (MS Word right?) to me at jeeroome@yahoo.fr .

Thanks for you answers!
