Topic: Stawars CGI ? About Scene back ground being all CGI.

The big fight scene with Darth maul,and two Jedi,was the room all CGI? I s that very costly to Cgi a stage then build one.I think the CGI stuff take longer,but can be more safer. |

It wasnt ALL CGI. The actors were shot on a bluescreen. Then the walls and such were keyed in later. As far as the energy walls, and the platforms, YES, those were ALL CGI. It is things like this, (and the podrace sequence) that cause the movie to take three years, when the live action shots only take 60 days.------------------

I love CGI,but I think GL puts to much time in the effects Starwars 1 was good,but Starwars 4,5,6 was better because I know the charcters and love them. I only like the Characters in ONe. Too much Cgi can hurt the story. BUT THANK YOU>------------------
