Hi,

there is a video being streamed and I want to save the whole video...when I try it just saves a shortcut...how can I save the entire video?

Thanks

is it a Quicktime video or Windows Media Player video? as far as i know, with Quicktime you cannot save videos (unless maybe you paid for the registered version) and usually in MediaPlayer you can. if you can't do File>Save or "Save Target As..." then most likely the person put a restriction on the video not allowing you to save it.

If it is a Windows MediaPlayer file (asf), I think you can store it on your HD via righ-click -> save target as...
If it is a Quicktime file, after the whole video finished playing, check c:/windows/temporay internet files.
It should be there.

Good luck!
