Does anbody have that effect where the newspaper comes spinning from the center? And if its a transition for premiere or MSP, could you send it to me.

Or, if its not a transition, could someone tell me how to do it?

Thanks

Well with MSP you should use a moving path.
Choose the one which turns and modifu how you need it!

If you have After Effects, you could take a digital picture of a newspaper then import it in to it and add the rotation effect to it. You can tell it how fast to spin and even make it zoom up toward you.

Here's an easy way for Premiere:
Take your newspaper image. Drop it in the time line and go Clip > Video > Motion.
Okay, center the beginning and give it a zoom of however far away you want. Center the end also and give it a zoom of something like 80 and a rotation of as much as it will go. Give that a whirl and see how it works for you.

or, if you want to do it w/out computers, you can do it this way: put the paper on a completely black background, and using stop motion animation you spin the paper and zoom in on it, so in the end it looks like it's spinning towards the camera. or if you wanted to superimpose it over other footage you could film the paper on a bluescreen.

I was seriously pondering that Sluggo. Is that how you did it on your 50's horror movie? Is was watching your movie the other day and that is what brought the question up.

BTW, good job

I always thought it was less time consuming to use a record player or a "lazy susan." just spin it on there and film it backwards... do all the zoom's you want. Forget stop-animation, it's an easy shot, it'll take you 5 minutes, that's how I did it.

Boy, life was so easy before computers.
