that's not a cockney accent.

Fink, you offered help on Rt2000. I need it again.

All of a sudden I cannot export video longer than 5 mins 23 seconds, regardless of content. I have checked my drives - nothing... I think its lost its ability to exceed the 2Gb file limit.

Help!

Hi Fink, thanks for replying.

I use the same export settings as usual - Matrox DV PAL codec (being in Europe)4:2:2:0
It doesn't seem to be a settings problem - I can export clips shorter than 5;23 without any problem, anything longer and it hits that point and the progress bar stops and the estimated time remaining starts creeping up into the several hours. The only way to escape is by exiting Premiere, and if I open Premiere again without rebooting the machine I start getting 'This program has performed an illegal operation'.
I have tested this using a number of different clips, and it makes no difference -so its not dropped frames or corrupt files, its clearly thefile length or something, but again, that's weird, because it's well short of even the 2Gb mark - about 1.19Gb in fact.

any thoughts?

What service pack for the RT2000 are you using? If not the newest, try upgrading and if that doesn't work...try reinstalling premiere (I doubt its the hardware) because premiere is a very buggy program...If that doesn't work check things in your background, like do you have a virus scan running or any program in the background...matrox suggests that premiere be the only thing running when capturing, editing and exporting....Let me know if this helps at all and I will try digging up some more stuff on it!
