I'm gonna be getting studio dv. As far as i'm aware it isn't compatible with premiere. So, could i do a really rough cut in studio dv (using its low quality preview thing)and then create an .avi file and use this file in premiere. Then after i've done that, use studio dv to export the file back to camera. Does anyone see any problems that i might face by using this method and what are peoples views on studio dv. |

The only way its not compatible is that you cant capture in premeire. If you want to do that, you have to buy a $50 codec. Capturing in the Studio program, making an AVI, and then editing with premiere is the way I've always done it. It should work. ------------------ J.D. Morgan | |
