Topic: firewire drive kit?

i need more memory for my dv editing, im looking into getting the drive kit, but im not even exactly how much memory it allows u to use. I saw something someware and it was 60gigs. can someone clarify all this for me. or tell me if its what i want. i only have 15gigs on the comp i use at the time. |

I'm pretty sure it only makes transfers to the drive faster. I don't think it increases storage space. For the same price as it though, you could get a 20GB-30GB hard drive and use the 15GB one as the boot disk.------------------
