it finally connects now but all im getting is static back from it and everything is pluging in on the vcr and when i press play all i still get is white static? whats wrong? is there someway i can change the channel on it to pick up fomr my vcr?

Where does the static show? On your TV-monitor, on your computer?

What are "everything pluging" to you VCR? The cables from your computer? Are they connected properly?

What channel are you talking about? The "channel" on you computer? on you TV?
