hey folks, i really need some help. on the advice of several other people in this forum, i got adobe after effects (4.1) for basically blue and green screening. Problem is, i'm not exactly sure on how to use it. If anybody can give me a brief description on how to do it, it'd be really helping me out.PS-I also heard after effects can do a quite a bit of sfx. what else is it good for? PSS-this is a bit off topic, but is BLENDER any good?

The manual tells you exactly how to do keying and just about everything else. You should start there.Brien |

I didnt really like the manual much, but if you get adobes classroom in a book for like 40 bucks, its a great way to learn all the nifties in after effects, and, in my opinion, the only good Classroom in a book book. Another good one is real world after effects, but its only for 3.1...still has good info though. |

the keying capabilities that AE comes with are not the greatest. I recommend trying some demos of third party plug-ins. there are links on adobe's site. | |
