Topic: Adobe Premier, Sony TRV310 and Adaptec AHA 8940

I'm running Windows 98 2nd edition with Adobe Premier 5.1c. I have an Adaptec AHA 8940 firewire card (can't find any support for this card) 98 will find the card and load drivers for it but I don't have any software for it. So I loaded the AHA 8945 drivers and I can load and use the Adaptec Hotconnect Ultra DVDeck software and I can pull the video down and all is fine. I can also send that same data (stored as an avi) back to the tape no problems. But if I edit the video the dvdeck program crashes and will not transfer to the tape. Also I cannot capture inside of Premier. Can anyone help me or point me to a site I can get some support from? Thanks in advance. | |
