It should work semi-ok on your computer. For now i suggest that stick in as much RAM as you can shove in it.Dale Jenner |

I'm running about the same (AMD 350, 64megs, 13 gig 7200 rpm) and yes, Premiere is slow, but I don't see why there's a problem with quality. Check your video settings to achieve better quality. |

To squeeze as much energy out of your system as possible:Turn off all applications you do not need. Right click on My Computer -> Properties - Performance tab -> Virtual Memory -> Select Let Me Specify -> Put the Swap file on your fastest hard drive -> Set Min and Max the same so that Windows doesn't waste time resizing the swap file. I would set it at about 256 MB for your computer. You can change it later if that seems too little. Download Cacheman from www.download.com or www.hotfiles.com and use it to change some settings.

I think funkeymunkey hit the nail on the head. I've been running premiere on a Cyrix 200 with 64 megs and it works fine - slower than molasses in winter, but the quality is fine when it is done. Make sure you are using a half decent codec |
