This is not so much as a question, but a solution that I came up with. Awhile back I posted a question about making a day shot look like night in premiere. I got several responses that suggested I get after effects and then a plug-in for that to accomplish this. I was messing around with the clip filters in premiere and by adjusting the contrast settings you can do this. I am posting this because maybe it can help somebody else that might not have thought of this. |

Hey thanx for the info Darkfang. I tried your technique and it worked okay. I even made a variation. In Premiere I adjusted the color balance to Red 0% Green 54% and Blue 113% and it gave it a nice dark blue hue...you could still make out the buildings and the ground...Then I brought the contrast up to 8 and brightness to 20. It looks like those old night shots in those older movies. Cool. Course these settings may not work in every case. Thanks! |
