How could I make fake breakable glass? Materials? Cost? Suppliers? Thanx

I have heard something about sugar and syrup mixed and boiled togheter and then pour it on a plain surface and let it cold, but I dont know exactly. I'll try to get the list of the ingredients.// w/mute

Our film group was just looking for that, and we found a recipe for sugar glass here ---> http://www. users.interport.net/~fletcher/visualfx.html I haven't tried it yet, so write me and tell me if it works!

Pfing,E-Maill me direct and I will give you the recipe and some thoughts on how to use it and what to do so your success rates are improved a bit. I've used it and it works fairly well but has some inherent problems compared to commercially produced solutions for making fake glass. Drop me a line. FXMan
