what is the easiest cheapest way to make an armature for a clay figure i will be making?

anybody know what foam latex is? and how to get/make it?

Yeah, the cheapest place to get that is from a can of fix-a-flat. you know, like when you get a flat tire.

Oh, wait, no, that's something totally different. Sorry.

There is an amature that is made for porcelin dolls. It is a series of ball joints making up the trunk and limbs. The armature is slightly limited in full range motion, but over all does a good job. The price only runs a few dollars. One of the unique things about the amature is that you can add or subtract ball joints extending or shortning the length of the trunk and limbs. You can find these amatures at craft stores or Wal Mart.
