Anyone know of an on-line store or a catalog that has realistic-lookin' dummys fer cheap (or not for cheap)????????

Check out your local Yellowpages for stores that re-sell store equipment. They should have used mannequins for sale.

That's the thing, I want a NEW dummy. And I need a make-up and effects mail-order catalog that would sell things like that.  Jack

When you say realistic looking dummy I guess you mean a dummy that looks like a real person. They are very expensive if you want a good one. Its not a stock item as far as I know. Someone would have to either make one for you or make a copy of one that they already have. Steve Johnson has a bunch of corpse dummies that he used in "The Stand". I understand that he rents them to other productions but I have no idea how much he charges. I suggest that you look up a special effects company on the web called Special Effects Supply. Its run by a very smart guy named Steve Biggs. He can probably help you find what you are looking for and at a price that you can afford.
