Does anyone know where and how much lighting gels are. I have tried several places and have not had any luck finding them.Or is there anyway to create your own gels that will be heat resistant. I have talked to an other person who said to use transparent coloured paper that you wrap gifts with. Any help is appreciated. horrormaker |

Not to take it out on you but why is everyone so lame when it comes to finding things on the internet? Type lighting gels on yahoo and youll find them, type lighting gel on ebay and youll find well only a couple but anyways they are only about 8 bucks a pop. Their use to be a link for studio depot on here but I dont see it anymore. They have lotsa gels.
http://www.homemole.com/cgi-bin/StudioDepot.storefront/ I dont think you can make them. |

Try searching Alta Vista via the following search special+effects+lighting+Los+Angeles Use the city you are in, the +'s will help you get there faster. Most of the fx houses on the web have product listings and address/contact information. Lighting gels are inexpensive. If your search brings you to lighting effects entertaining, I do not believe that it is productive for you to investigate purchase of gels there. Homemade products are not usually a good idea. You need to be careful about the heat and safety factors with consideration to the lights you are using. |
