Hi. I keep trying to export my 18 minute video that i edited on to a video file format (avi, mpg) But the file sizes are HUGE! (Like 26,000 mb) just for 18 minutes! Is that normal? Cause i don't have 28 gig in my hard drive. Is there anyway that i can reduce file size, or, i don't know. It just doesn't seem logical for only 18 minutes of project file.

youre problem sounds like you are trying to save the video in full frames (uncompressed video). uncompressed video is incredibly large. you need to use some sort of codec, like Indeo 5, or, I think this is free for a limited time, a motion jpeg codec. try www.jpeg.com. they have a darn good compressor with a limited time free registration. or you might try the Morgan Multimedia MJPEG codec, that is also great. and only 25 bucks to register. hope this helps
