Okay I am making a zombie flick and I need to know does any of you live in the Pacific Northwest you know WASHINGTON OREGON IDAHO because I live in Washington and am making a Zombie flick and I need a special f/x artist that is good for the job. Pay well be about 50 to 100 bucks and you will have to supply all the special f/x materials if you are a really good special f/x artist I'll even pay for that.Any ways if you want to do this grueling work just respond, and I will give you the info you need, I would do the special f/x but I am not as good as most of you for what is required in this movie. Production may begin January 2000. Thax all -Tony Lewis |

If you are near Seattle, you might try Robert Standlee. He owns a hair salon called. I think, Standlee Hair design, or Standlee *something something*. He worked with Anatomorphex on a few commercials and some other projects in L.A. a couple years ago, but went up to Seattle when the biz slowed down. He did the effects for Sierra On-Line for "Phantasmagoria 2", he's really well equipped, and is more than capable to handle your requirements. It will probably cost more than $100.00, but it may be worth calling him just to pick his brain. |

here's a tip: If you are going to pay an Fx artist(especially make-up) you can not expect them to buy all your supplies for these effects. They are YOUR effects, it is YOUR movie, therefore it is YOUR job to pay for the supplies needed. If someone does not have all the supplies to do an effect(which will be a reality), you will either have to pay for the materials or cut out the effect. This is the way it is. I don't know many make-up fx artists(especially amateur) who will pay for some producer's effects(they can't usually afford it). |
