I thought this would be so simple. Making my wife look pregnant. Well, there are two obvious (I thought) solutions. The first--well, we just aren't ready for that. The second would be to stuff a pillow under her shirt.

The pillow, though, makes her look like she has a pillow under her shirt. The edges are round, but, even with a small throw pillow, the middle flattens out quite a bit.

Anybody have any ideas as to what we can use to give her that nice, round, "I'm about ready to pop" look?

The pillow is a good idea.

You might want to try using a medium/small pillow and attaching it to her by tightly wrapping food plastic around her and the pillow.

You should be able to get that ripe as a melon ready to drop look.

It's going to get hot wearing this, the droop factor is high.

Good luck,
Scott

Another way would be to wrap thin cotton fabric(much cooler than the nonpourous saran wrap) around some sort of filler, if its going to be touched, or examined much, it should probably have some weight, as pregnant women walk differently(and have much more trouble doing so) than those with pillows affixed to their midsections. It should also have some sort of substance to it, most pregnant women dont feel like pillows, maybe a partially inflated ball of some sort, covered in soft material, and then wrapped to the body with the thin cotton fabric. If the pregnant woman isnt to be touched, this can probably be left out, though it would help to protect against deformation of the bulge. for those saying, welol, who can tell when its touched, its a movie(im assuming?), they cant tell, they can. oddly enough, even subtle things like that can add or detract from the effect.

well, Im done ranting about pregnant people now, my O key oooooos is ao acting up again and gooooooooooooingoooo oooooff by itseolf. augh! help.

Hey since it's close to halloween you could allways goto one of those halloween shops that are open all over the place and get a fake pregant belly... I see them all the time.

Couldn't find anything at our local costume shop. Actually, this is for halloween, so that was the first place we checked.

We did solve the problem, though. We made our own pillow (quite a bit thicker than a regular pillow, but not nearly as big around). We are going to strap it to her with some ace bandages. With it strapped on, the flatness goes away.
