They cost a little over $100. Anything more involved would cost much more.------------------ "I like to see things as I remember them, not as they were." -Bill Pullman "Lost Highway" |

Send me an email explaining more of what you want to do. I'll try to help you out. Minor motion control systems are not really that hard to set up, but if you need exact movements, then it gets expensive.------------------ Rex Winfrey Critter Creation Shop

If you want to use your computer to control servos and stuff then look on the net for schematics and stuff, eg computer control circuits. If you want what ever it is you are controlling to do a routine, then it might be a good idea to get a basic stamp, a little programmable microcontroller, that is programed in basic (i belive) and can handle servos etc.Dale Jenner |

Okay, this one is pretty low budget (but that's the point, isn't it?. It's actually two methods, though they both imply that you don't really need your computer to control the object, but need an object to move remotely and/or programmably. First, Strip down one of those super cheap RC cars. You can get one at Meijer for about 30-50 bucks. Control it from there. Even cheaper, you ask? I had a toy when I was a kid that I think they reissued that had programmable motion. It was a Voltron moving action figure with a little programmable control. It had forward, backward, turn left, turn right, figure 8 and "go" buttons. Not much, but it's SUPER Cheap. ------------------ Liquid courage is better than none at all. |
