im new to cameras sorta, what does VHS stand for again? and is the hi8 a good camera to use?

Though I am a proud Hi8 owner, don't go with Hi8 it's days as well as all analog days are numbered. Go with Digi8 or miniDV

I may be wrong, but I think VHS stands for Vertical Helical Scan.
