I just got a new sony digital camera, and i was wondering if you can dubb other sounds right onto the tape without useing a computer, cause my older vhs camera has a audio dubb button right on it.

You most likely can dub at least one audio channel. Check the index in the manual under something like "Dubbing, audio" to make sure.
