"Show me love" - a swedish movie (!)- special effects and filmmaking
So, so sorry that is have nothing to do with special effects. Anyway... I always though there wasn't one great swedish movie until this movie came. The us titel is "Show me love" and the orignial titel is "Fu**ing Åmål" (No..that isn't me cursing, really that is the swedish titel) Don't get this wrong, "Åmål" is a swedish town ; )
Anyway the reason i made this topic is to tell you that the movie is now showed in some (not many) theatres in the us now. If you get the chance to see it, do it. It became a big sucess here in Sweden, and i've heard that many american critics liked it very much. The movie is about a couple of teenagers in the smal town "Åmål". It doesn't sound so great but that is exactly want it is - a joy.

Can add to that the film's about juvenile confusion and generations shifts. What´s particulary cool about it isn´t its storyline but its dialogue. Unfortunately this won´t get right sub´ed. Even more unfortunately, many of the jokes and cross references refer to swedish-only circumstances and experiences. If non-swedes actually *do* understand it it´s just great cause it´s nearly unmissable thosecasedly.
