I have made some casts of my teeth, but I'm now trying to find something to build a set of fangs. I heard that one can get hold of some wax to form those sort of teeth, but my suplier of fx stuff never had heard of it, but sugestet to try with mail wax stick, you know the kind that you melt over the back of the envelope to hold it together. Have anyone tried that with success or are the other thing i can use??? |

As long as it contains no toxins you should be fine. SEALING wax as I think it's commonly called (maybe of old) is quite a bit harder than normal wax isn't it? And that should render decent set of fangs that should be a bit harder than regular paraffins or other wax products. Even Dental Waxes which are traditionally a bit harder I still don't think is as hard as sealing wax as you mention. But try it. As long as there isn't anything toxic how can you go wrong? If that doesn't work, check with a dentist or dental lab for their hardest wax for doing false teeth sculpts (hard white tooth wax).Good luck!!! FXMan P.S. Or better yet, learn how to do acrylic teeth with the actual supplies from a dental supply place. No matter where you live, there should be a supplier to your local dentists. And unless it's just some foolish company policy, you should be able to get any of the compounds required to do this. Just take precautions when it comes to ventilation. Stuff stinks. But it's easy enough to buy a small kit of some kind and learn to use the products. Not that hard.
