1.i want to make a scar, i prepared mold already
i want to know exact ratio of glycerin and solbitol, water, gelatin to make a form gelatin
and, does ratio must be change, if except a solbitol.
what i use to make a skin color & texture?(plocking) i mean material...i guess that is food color
quote:
FLOCKING is short nap colored (usually cotton) fibers cut real short - actually you can get it in differnet lengths. Comes in MANY colors. Use this and a small amount of flesh colored powder (small amount) to color your gelatin. You want translucency as much as you can get.
2.what is best ways to apply a appliance on the skin.
and, how can i seal the edge of appliance,
is possible use the bando or duo for the edge?
quote:
Pros Aid II or Spirit Gum over a skin sealor lie Top Gard or Sweat Stop. If made properly you don't need to cover edges of appliances - they should be thin enough at the start to blend into the skin by melting with WITCH HAZEL. Molds MUST be made correctly for gelatin appliances.
3.is possible use the foundation skin color instead of RMGP for real skin tone?
quote:
YES you can but if made right the appliances will blend almost imperceptably into the skin without too much coloring and if thin enough will let the natural skin tones read through the appliance with only a minor amount of coloring (you can use washes of color) over the top to make it look natural.
i used form gel already, but skin tone is problem. too red to asian, looked like a burn scar. so we have to make a our skin tone.
thanks .....^.^
quote:
If you get it colored correctly intrinsically to begin with you would only need minor coloring with RMGP or tattoo inks perhaps over the top to add the depth of color of natural skin.
