i say a little asterisk on their website stating that for 3mb/sec video (640x480 res at 30 fps), it required a scsi hard drive. This kinda sucks for those no budget kinda filmmakers who really can't afford a new card and hard drive. anyway, does anyone know how it works without the scsi? also, does anyone know if this applies to the matrox g400 series... both millenium and marvel. Also, with the dc10+ and millenium, i don't think their is any audio input through the video card. Is quality any different doing audio through sound card? does it use up more system resources? rather vague question but any info on experience with capturing through sound card would be appreciated. Many thanks |

of course ye will!! so far, millenium and rrg looks better than the pinnacle, and it's about 50 more. However, this doesn't have audio in/out ( i don't think so at least). Anyway, so the marvel g400 looks good, and has the audio stuff, but that inability to use a secondary crt monitor is somewhat discouraging...(in most cases, i really wouldn't care about having dual monitors, but hey! if the option is available!!)...so which is more important? millenium g400- no audio in/out marvel g400- no secondary rgb displayi'm probably gonna go with marvel, but what do you all think? |
