I'm looking to buy a DV capture card, possibly the DV 200 or DV 300. My question is how do these cards export to a VCR? S-video, IEE port or composite? Can someone explain?Thank you. |

As far as I know, they just export through an IEEE 1394 port. |

Currently DV cards only contain the FireWire ports. You will need to buy a seperate capture card to export/import using composite or s-video. |

Actually, I just remembered that Pinnacle has come out with DV500, and it has both firewire and analog jacks. Don't know about the price, though. Check www.pinnaclesys.com . |

Thank you. I figured that it was a purely digital system. I'll probably go with the DC30 then. |

As I read the description of the dv500 I came to the conclusion that this one also captures from an analog source, BUT there's nothing about how well it compares to the dc30+. |
